"Our memory care center has been specifically designed to offer an encouraging, supportive, and secure environment for residents with memory impairments. Each staff member has received training specific to working with residents with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.

Each resident enjoys the privacy of a spacious room, plus the use of common areas, which include sunroom, living room, kitchen and dining areas. Each resident room is personally identified with a customized shadow box just outside his or her door."

Recreation and Respite program is available to seniors
(with physical or memory impairments) and to their caregivers.

The program provides:

• Activities for seniors who can benefit from socializing, ultimately preventing isolation.
   
• Support for their caregivers by allowing them to pursue their own interests while leaving their loved ones in a safe environment.
   
• A Caregiver Support Group to make new friends, get referrals or take advantage of the opportunity to share in a supportive environment. This time will be open to all caregivers (not disease or age specific).

Lucia is a magical little town on the the Big Sur coast where one can not resist stopping to take in the magnificent views. "Lucia" was the beginning of our creative journey towards expressing our passion and gratitude for nature itself through the design and concept of all of our Lucia Apothecary collections.

Lucia Apothecary creates luxurious bath and body products with ingredients reminiscent of a California garden. Rich olive and sweet almond oils form the base of our sugar scrubs and body oils. Each Lucia scent is inspired by our favorite places along the coast; Malibu, Cambria, Carmel, Mendocino, Laguna, Sausalito.
